Bishop Ronald S. Hobson, Sr. is a visionary leader, devoted pastor, and esteemed servant of God whose life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to spiritual excellence, leadership development, and Kingdom advancement. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Reconstruction Church, where he has faithfully led with integrity, compassion, and a transformative vision for rebuilding lives and strengthening communities through the power of the Gospel.
Bishop Hobson’s leadership extends beyond the local church to national and international platforms. He serves as Chancellor of Miami Regional Theological University, where he contributes to the academic and spiritual formation of emerging leaders. He is also a respected member of the Episcopal Board of Bishops of the United Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries, where he serves as National Men’s Chairman and Chairman of Clergy Training, equipping ministers for effective and impactful service.
In his episcopal capacity, Bishop Hobson serves as the Presiding Bishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Massachusetts, providing spiritual oversight, governance, and leadership to churches and ministries throughout the region. Covenant Church & Ministries in 2004 and Refreshing Spring Worship
Center in 2006. He also served for 16 years in various areas of the city.
Additionally, Bishop Hobson has been appointed Administrative Assistant and Chief Operating Officer of the Greater New Hampshire Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, where he plays a critical role in organizational leadership, operations, and ministerial support.
Beyond the pulpit, Bishop Hobson is also an entrepreneur and community stakeholder. He is the Co-Owner of Southern Comfort Restaurant, a staple in New England’s dining scene located in the historic “City of Champions,” Brockton. Through this venture, he continues to impact the community by creating opportunities, fostering fellowship, and contributing to local economic growth.
